About The Position
As a Product Designer Intern at SoFi, you'll join the Design Systems Team, tackling a real-world, complex challenge by working on SoFi's mobile and web design system (Pacific). Your focus will be refining our design system to elevate our mobile and web app while empowering Product Designers, with the goal of delivering a polished, impactful solution. Your efforts will leave a lasting imprint on our design ecosystem and product. Day-to-day, you'll team up with your Design Mentor, fellow Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and key stakeholders to brainstorm, refine, and champion enhancements to Pacific. At SoFi, we fold our Interns into the core of our routines, giving you an insider's view of the Design Organization's process and the wider team's work. You'll gain insights from former Design Interns now on staff full-time and, at times, connect with SoFi Senior Leadership through Intern Program events. By the end, we want you to walk away with hands-on tech industry experience and a portfolio showcasing meaningful contributions to our design systems that you can proudly highlight.
