Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field
• Basic familiarity with laboratory operations including aseptic technique, pipetting,
• Experience with basic laboratory equipment (centrifuges, balances, biosafety cabinets)
• Familiarity with basic nucleic acid and protein based analytical tools
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a drug screen
• May be required to pass Occupational Health Screening

Responsibilities

• Help develop and optimize processes for various monoclonal antibody therapeutics
• Perform cell culture for the production and isolation of secreted proteins
• Participate in small scale studies that will contribute to the cell line development and protein therapeutic program as a whole
• Execute relevant analytical procedures for cell line development including nucleic acid isolation, purification, cellular transfection and protein-product isolation
• Analyze, interpret, and present data to peers
• Review and share scientific literature to drive experimental design
