About The Position

Main focus will be on creating a current Piping and Instrumentation Diagram
(P&ID) of the Pine Brook Cooling Water system.
Using software such as Solidworks to create the P&ID, project work might
include use of Excel or JMP if startistical analysis is required. Individual
will be trained on the Pine Brook diagram requirements as part of their
internship.
Field trace the existing cooling water system and seek guidance from team in
identification of the components as needed.
Individual will present their work and updated P&ID to management in a 15
minute presentation at the end of term

Requirements

• Candidate should at least be a rising sophomore pursuing a BS degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Internship Duration: 10 – 14 weeks.
• ITAR compliance is required for this position.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or protected individual).
• Compliance with all applicable export control regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with P&IDs is a plus.
• Experience with Solidworks is a plus.
