About The Position

What this Department does: The PHMSA Compliance Department oversees the company’s compliance program related to Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR Parts 190-199), as well as any applicable state regulations. Our responsibilities include facilitating inspections, conducting incident investigations, responding to enforcement actions, providing training, and overseeing the updates to relevant operations, maintenance, engineering and design, construction, and public awareness manuals.

Requirements

• Education: Student actively enrolled in an approved Bachelor of Engineering degree program with expected graduation date of December 2025-December 2028
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• Process flow diagrams
• CAD (preferable)

Responsibilities

• Learn MOP/MAOP Confirmation
• Assist with audit prep - reviewing records, procedures, SSP's and visiting field locations to confirm audit ready
• Helping fine tune the following processes: Agency inspections Enforcement response / status update
• Development of training/testing tools from the O&M procedures using AI.
• PHMSA rules and regulations
• How to collaborate with multiple departments
• Agency and O&M procedures
