About The Position

Are you passionate about pharmacy benefits consulting? Are you looking for a paid part time Spring 2025 Internship that will challenge and develop your skills and potential? This opportunity may be for you! The Pharmacy Intern in the National Pharmacy Benefits Consulting team will be directly involved in the support of our clients and internal projects.

Requirements

• Minimum second year of studies in a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.
• Strong technical/analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a time-sensitive environment.
• Knowledge of PBM providers, products, services, financial, data reporting, contracting and negotiating elements and processes is helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of Medicare is a plus but not mandatory.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and cooperation skills combined with demonstrated multi-tasking skills.
• Previous work experience in a professional service environment is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing formulary technical reviews.
• Assist with ad-hoc client requests that require clinical research regarding drug reviews and PBM or other vendor clinical programs.
• Assist with research and development regarding pharmacy cost and utilization, drug trends and clinical studies.
• Support of national research, analytical and development efforts to advance pharmacy benefits consulting capabilities, deliverables and services.

Benefits

• Hourly salary range of $18.00/hour to $28.00/hour.
