Summary: The intern pharmacist would assist the full-time pharmacy staff during times of pharmacist PTO, as an intern may perform many of the functions of a pharmacist while under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities
- Filling prescriptions.
- Patient counseling.
- Answering patient inquiries.
- Answering drug information requests from providers.
- Obtaining prior authorizations.
- Consulting prescribers about prescription problems.
- Ensuring proper billing of prescriptions.
- Performing medication therapy management.
- Maintaining drug inventory.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
- Ordering medications from wholesalers.
- Consulting drug references for information.
