Department The Originals Production team develops and produces original, long-form content, including documentaries, series, and branded storytelling projects. This department collaborates closely with creative, editorial, and distribution teams to bring compelling narratives to life. Their work deepens fan connection, supports brand storytelling, and contributes to the organization’s premium content portfolio across platforms.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program directly related to the role, such as Television, Film, Communications, Journalism, or a similar discipline; Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level standing preferred
  • Willingness to learn and develop production knowledge and skills, with a primary focus on post-production and long-form content creation
  • Working proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfortable working on Mac-based systems and learning new software and production tools
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to take ownership of delegated tasks and follow projects through to completion
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions

Responsibilities

  • Support staff and crew on set by acting as a Production Assistant during shoots
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of production equipment and shoot locations
  • Log and organize footage within the production asset management system
  • Create and manage video links for internal review and online distribution
  • Download and manage content from third-party clients and external sources
  • Transcribe video content and assist with basic post-production organization tasks
  • Download, label, and organize video assets as needed
  • Support the Originals Production team on additional tasks, projects, and initiatives as assigned
