About The Position

Controls Engineering broadly focuses on automation and controls projects at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This candidate will be highly involved in projects containing: Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Quality Control System (QCS), Motors & Drives, Instrumentation, and Power Distribution.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering (preference for Electrical).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with controls software.
• Knowledge of Ladder Logic.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Team collaboration skills.
• Problem solving/troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of modifications to equipment to improve efficiency and performance.
• Activities may include instrument selection, creating electrical wiring drawings, and DCS/PLC & HMI programming.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to control systems and equipment malfunctions through systematic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of modifications, programming changes, and troubleshooting activities.
