Applicant will report directly to the Director of Accounting and work hours are flexible with applicant’s school schedule, hour expectation is 15-30 hours per week. Operation: 1) Enhance/expand the individual's knowledge of agriculture productions -Teach interns the logistics of plant operations via production and inventory management as well as general safety requirements. At the end interns will be able to plan production orders via managing inventory levels at various facilities as well as planning the production schedule for the day. Completion of this objective will be satisfied by successful completion of a day's production schedule being completed by the interns. 2) Expose the individual to logistics management -Provide interns an opportunity to work within a TMX platform and obtain first hand experience with managing logistic needs of a grain processing facility. At the end of the program, interns will have extensive experience working in a TMX platform, securing freight needs, and managing overall logistics. An oral overview/exit interview will be performed by the internship supervisor prior to each intern leaving. 3) Expose the individual to a general business environment in the value-add manufacturing industry -Provide interns with real world experience of the overall business operations by shadowing the VP of Operations and helping with various administrative tasks in our Fargo HQ. At the end of the program interns will have an understanding of the non-processing tasks that are required to run a similar business.
