About the position

We are looking for 2 student employees to help support initiatives within the Gary Works Steelmaking Division, in order to improve efficiencies and streamline processes. Student Employee Project 1: Create simulation of a steel shop. Must have experience with AutoCad and FlexSim or some type of simulation software. Student Employee Project 2: Defining KPI's and creating visual management tools for KPI's in steelmaking.

Responsibilities

  • Create simulation of a steel shop using AutoCad and FlexSim or similar software.
  • Define KPI's and create visual management tools for KPI's in steelmaking.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree.
  • Candidates must be a current student and have completed their sophomore year by June 2024 and be in good academic standing.
  • Be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
