Intern, NDCP (Graduate Student)
About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Pharmacology Summer Intern to support ongoing clinical development programs. The intern will work closely with clinical pharmacologists, pharmacometricians and cross functional members to contribute to PK/PD to inform dose selection and clinical strategy. The interns will have opportunities to assist in the analysis and interpretation of clinical PK/PD data, support noncompartmental and /or model-based analyses, contribute to study protocol, clinical study report and internal presentations, and attend team meetings/scientific discussions related to drug development.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PharmD or PhD in Pharmaceutical Science, Clinical Pharmacology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of PK/PD principles.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: R, WinNonlin or similar software.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior coursework or experience in PK/PD modeling.
- Exposure to clinical research or pharmaceutical/biotech environment.
