Under close supervision, the Intern, Naval Architect performs routine assignments that are clearly defined and require the application of standard design techniques, procedures and criteria. Activities are directly initiated, supervised and reviewed by more senior level specialists and engineers.   • Works closely with the Sr. Engineer/and or Naval Architect to assist and support them.
  • Perform design reviews
  • Resolve technical issues and manage information generated through the design and construction phases of multiple and concurrent projects.
  • Adhere to all company safety, environmental, quality assurance and security programs.
  • Internship classification normally requires completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies from an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Engineering.
  • Must have working knowledge of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment.
  • Must possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Previous internship experience is preferred, but not required.
