About the position

Join us for a full-time, 12-14 week paid internship that offers continuous learning, hands-on and collaborative experience. You’ll be working in a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional Data Science team to research, analyze, and build our ML algorithms and pipeline. Daily responsibilities include: Research and develop prototypes of state-of-the-art machine learning models with applications in coronary CT angiography. Conduct analyses of the algorithms and prototypes being researched and developed. Present findings and recommendations to peers and other stakeholders. Prepare patents and publications.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD/MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Imaging, or a related technical field.
  • Research experience in applying machine learning / deep learning in medical imaging processing, i.e. segmentation, registration, classification, reconstruction, detection, etc.
  • Experience with Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing and applying state-of-the-art deep learning models, e.g. vision transformer, LSTM, semi-supervised machine learning, incremental or continuous learning techniques, etc.
  • Strong track record with publications in top medical imaging or computer vision conferences.
