Join Labcorp's 2026 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We're looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 11-week paid internship where you'll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives. As a Labcorp intern, you'll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you'll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp's global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure, and visibility, including direct interaction with senior leaders. You'll also participate in an immersive, in-person intern event designed to connect you with peers and deepen your understanding of our mission. Continuous opportunities to connect and grow will be available, along with dedicated mentoring connections to guide your growth and provide career advice.

  • Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
  • Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
  • Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
  • Replenish test bench supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
  • Be working toward a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelor's degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
  • Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career as a Laboratory Technologist
  • Be able to lift and rotate up to 30 pounds regularly
