As 2026 Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, networking events, professional development seminars and contribute to key deliverables. This is a 10 week, full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that begins on June 1, 2026. About The Team This team drives high‑impact strategic initiatives that shape the future direction of FIS. We partner closely with senior leaders across the business to evaluate growth opportunities, execute M&A activities, and support enterprise‑wide strategic planning. The team operates in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment where analytical rigor, curiosity, and forward thinking are key to delivering meaningful outcomes for the organization.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in Finance-related field
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessments on potential merger and acquisition opportunities, ensuring close alignment with the organization's business objectives and long-term strategies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to navigate complex transactions and negotiate favorable terms
  • Identify potential merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities within the financial technology landscape, staying abreast of industry trends, and assessing market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making
  • Apply advanced knowledge in financial modeling and valuation evaluating target companies, assessing their financial health, and projecting potential synergies
  • Facilitate the engagement of post-merger integration processes, working to streamline operations, optimize synergies, and maximize value-added services and solutions
