About The Position

About the Role: This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2026. Resume review begins in January 2026. The intern in the Medical Research team will support a project to enhance the management of publication and study results from our portfolio of completed investigator sponsored and Phase 4 research studies. Under the supervision of the Director, Medical Research Process & Governance in the Global Medical Capabilities function, the intern will review completed final study reports and publications to create summaries, prepare reporting, and ensure appropriate tracking in research and publications systems. This project will cover all Biogen therapeutic areas and enable processes related to scientific publications, pharmacovigilance, product lifecycle management, and post-market research conduct. The end result will be the introduction of a new way to share study results with stakeholders to improve scientific knowledge sharing across the company and a framework for assessing the impact of study publications. What You’ll Do: As an intern in the Medical Research team, you will: Review reports and publications to create study results summaries Review and update tracking of product safety surveillance activities for completed studies Conduct literature searches to identify publications related to studies missing from our database Assess compliance with Biogen’s publication and PV policies Develop study summary sharing mechanism to provide information to key stakeholders using available tools Participate in development of impact assessment framework for study publications Who You Are: You are interested in post-market activities conducted by Medical Affairs in a biotechnology setting including research, publications, and pharmacovigilance. You are motivated to learn and share scientific concepts with stakeholders with varying needs. You have some experience reviewing and understanding scientific publications and conducting literature searches. You have a strong attention to detail. You are familiar with MS Excel. To participate in the Biogen Internship or Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date. Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship. Education Requirements Open to senior undergraduates or graduate students Preference for life sciences majors but open to social science or other majors involving critical review of publications and literature searches Job Level: Internship Additional Information The base compensation range for this role is: $23.00-$33.00 The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate’s current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location. Requirements
