As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you'll lead projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain hands-on experience. Use the Management of Change (MOC) process to implement recommendations. Support daily tasks, monitor operating parameters, and ensure safety compliance. You will report to the Sr Reliability Engineer and work onsite. This is a safety sensitive position.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering Program.
  • Ability to make verbal and written presentations to communicate ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Gather process information and perform engineering calculations.
  • Present project results and recommendations.
  • Assist Process and Reliability Engineers with daily tasks.
  • Analyze trends and maintain turbine and compressor efficiencies.
  • Track machine tribology data, cooling water surveys, catalyst surveys, DCS trends, and lab results.
  • Initiate and follow up on MOC submittals.
  • Organize Process Safety Information for technicians.
  • Participate in Process Hazard Analyses.
  • Develop and review Mechanical Integrity Procedures.
