Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in mechanical or architectural engineering and have an interest in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design.
  • Ability to work in our Roseville, MN office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have completed two years of study towards a mechanical engineering degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with senior engineers and design professionals for guidance and training.
  • Learn the mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) aspects that go into making a building functional and safe.
  • Learn and apply the software tools that aide in design and drawing production.
  • Model mechanical systems in buildings using our design tools including Revit, loads software Trane TRACE, manufacturer’s online sizing tools for equipment, and more.
  • Interact with design professionals in other building design disciplines.
