Summer 2026, MBA intern: Corporate Strategy & Development (MBA students) RTX Corporation is an industry leading Aerospace and Defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military and government customers worldwide. It comprises three industry-leading businesses – Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon. The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Strategy & Development Team: The RTX Corporate Strategy & Development (“CS&D”) team is responsible for shaping the future strategic direction of the company in addition to executing on M&A activity for the company. CS&D reports directly to RTX’s President & CEO and the team serves as advisors to RTX leadership on the highest value issues and opportunities facing the company. All CS&D team members are also expected to: Monitor competitive dynamics and M&A activity in RTX end markets and among corporate and business unit peers Build productive relationships with RTX business units to understand their businesses and strategic objectives What You Will do MBA Interns are an integral part of the CS&D team, supporting active strategy and transaction projects during their time in the group. Specific responsibilities may include:

Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing an MBA and must not graduate prior August 2026.
  • 2+ years of prior strategy experience (at a consulting firm or in an internal strategy role) or transactional experience (at an investment bank or in a corporate development role)

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing market opportunities and competitive dynamics
  • Self-directed strategy analyses
  • Evaluating potential acquisition targets (including valuation, structuring and actionability)
  • Supporting active M&A transactions
  • Developing presentations for RTX leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Presenting strategy findings or M&A recommendations to senior management
