About The Position

Our growing Camden, AR site has the newest, state-of-the-art large solid rocket motor facility in the nation to produce rocket motors that support our nation’s most important next generation national security programs, like the Sentinel (Ground Based Strategic Deterrent), hypersonics and missile defense targets. Camden is also where we produce solid rocket motors and warheads critical to the nation’s defense, like THAAD, Standard Missile, Tactical Tomahawk, Javelin and the Patriot Missile System. Under direct supervision, the intern performs professional work following a set of policies and procedures for guidance. This position requires some professional judgment and a limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Performs chemical analyses, routine syntheses, tests, and experiments where procedures are well established. Completes documentation and writes test reports to document findings.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Chemistry (or similar major) and returning to school upon the completion of their internship assignment.
