About The Position

United Bank of Union is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a college student or early-career individual seeking hands-on experience in the community, social media, content creation, digital marketing, and market research. JOB SUMMARY: This position will support the bank’s marketing team with day-to-day projects and initiatives designed to increase brand awareness, support business development, enhance customer engagement, and community outreach.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or related field (or recent graduate).
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Eager to learn and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and editing content across various platforms.
• Support content development for marketing materials, electronic signage, newsletters, social media, events, and more.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
• Help coordinate marketing campaigns and track performance metrics.
• Assist with graphic design tasks such as creating simple visuals, flyers, and promotional assets (using Adobe Creative Suite along with other alike products).
• Organize and maintain marketing files, photo libraries, and digital assets.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for marketing initiatives.
• Provide general administrative support for marketing projects and events.
