About The Position

The Storytelling Intern within our Marketing Department, who will assist UCP’s Public Relations/Marketing team in developing, writing, and distributing clear and effective content across all platforms. Tasks include copywriting, maintaining press database, drafting mass e-mail communication, posting content on UCP’s social platforms and auditing the agencies web presence. Requirements

• A student pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communication or Non-Profit Management.
• The ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• The ability to track and execute multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines
• Strong written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• The ability to shape a story in a group and individual setting
• The ability to produce various projects from the ground up if necessary
• If a candidate is selected for the internship program, they are required to pass a background check
