About The Position
Hennepin County District Court is pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking practical, professional work experience in a government organization. The selected candidate will provide support for the juvenile division. With the guidance of Juvenile Division Supervisors, Leadworkers and Specialists, the selected candidate will support Court Operations Associates by performing routine clerical or administrative work. Assignments are intended to allow incumbents to learn and develop skills and abilities. This position is part of a summer cohort of internship positions with District Court, and will participate in professional development trainings, as well as opportunities to learn about the work of the courts and the Juvenile Division’s role in supporting the court's mission, vision, and values. This is a temporary position for the summer of 2025, with an expected start date on or near 6/03/2025 and an anticipated end date of 8/29/2025. This position is located at the Juvenile Justice Center in downtown Minneapolis at 590 Park Avenue. Typical hours for this position are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, with some flexibility based on business needs. This position is required to work primarily onsite.
