About The Position

The Summer 2025 Internship for the IT PMO team at Vulcan Materials Company offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management within the Information Technology Organization. Interns will assist at the project level, engaging in governance and process leadership essential for successful project and portfolio management. This role is designed for junior or senior college students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, providing exposure to both office and operational environments.

Requirements

• Enrolled in good standing with a college, pursuing a Computer Science or MIS degree.
• Junior or Senior level preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and GSuite.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and take instruction.
• Results-oriented self-starter with the ability to adapt to different environments.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience or internship in a related field.
• Experience in the service industry or student clubs and associations.
• Team building experience, such as participation in sports or project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IT PMO team in project management activities.
