About The Position

The role supports and coordinates information technology security needs throughout the organization. The individual will work with team members within IT to support software application and data needs.

Requirements

• No prior experience required, however candidate should possess interest in Information Technology and/or application development or databases or data mining.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College sophomore or higher working toward a bachelor degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or other applicable business degree with interest in application development.

Nice To Haves

• Quality written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provides support and resolution for application issues that are escalated from the help desk.
• Assists with configuration and administration of a variety of software applications.
• Assist with database design, reporting and programming tasks of moderate complexity.
• Gathers input from peers and management on complex situations.
• Uses appropriate discretion in handling confidential information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
