About The Position

This paid internship at Compeer Financial offers an opportunity for students pursuing a degree in agriculture, business, or a related field to work with the Crop Insurance sales team. The intern will assist in processing and servicing clients regarding multi-peril crop insurance and other insurance policies, while gaining valuable experience in the agricultural finance sector. The internship is full-time and will run through the Summer of 2025, with positions available in various locations in Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of agriculture and agricultural operations is preferred.
• Efficient, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and other technology.
• Ability to deliver high-quality products and services.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of crop insurance products and risk management strategies.
• Provide support to the sales team and interact with clients in various settings.
• Collaborate with AIP underwriters and the insurance sales team to review documents.
• Scan completed documents into the document management system.
• Perform data entry into AIP systems.
• Protect client confidentiality and integrity of client data.
