Intern – Infrastructure Security (Summer 2026)
About The Position
Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for an Infrastructure Security Intern to join 2026 Summer Internship program to support the Information Technology department. Willkie is an elite international law firm with approximately 1,300 lawyers across 16 offices in six countries. The Infrastructure Security Intern will be a member of the Infrastructure and Security team and will participate in various projects. The ideal candidate will be in the process of pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT Security/Cyber Security or similar field. Candidates should be intellectually curious and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and maintain confidential information at all times. Additionally, candidates will have strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on IT experience in a law firm environment. Candidates should be willing to work 35 hours weekly starting June 2026 through August 2026 for 10 weeks, with the possibility to extending into the academic year. Dates to be announced once finalized.
Requirements
- Ability to work from June through August.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT Security/Cyber Security or similar field.
- Experience in coding/scripting, networking.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support application security initiatives and related remediation activities.
- Review and handle security alerts.
- Develop security detection rules.
- Conduct vulnerability research and follow up with stakeholders on remediation progress.
- Create documentation for processes and procedures.
