This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2026. Resume review begins in September 2025. Multiple positions available. Information technology is a key enabler of our long-term growth strategy. We are taking IT to another level to drive real business solutions and advance the way technology is applied in the biopharma industry. We are seeking talented, highly motivated undergraduates to join our Information Technology Intern Program. Our internships last about 12 weeks and during that time, we have a chance to evaluate you and you have a chance to evaluate us. Successful interns may be offered a full-time role in Biogen IT's Rotation Program.

  • Exposure to the development and deployment of key data and analytics platforms in Pharmaceutical Operations & Technology for use in GXP Manufacturing and for non-GXP activities supporting Supply Chain analytics and Business Intelligence.
  • Assist in the lifecycle of automation from idea to production use, ensuring efficient workflow integration and end-to-end visibility through a sound DevOps infrastructure.
  • Investigate and analyze Threats, Phishing, and Malware Alerts generated by various internal and external sources as part of the Computer Incident Response team.
  • Complete and update related Incident Response documentation and present findings to Security Operations.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques such as Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, and Machine Learning to explore use cases and create projects.
  • Participate in various IT projects across Research, Development Sciences, Regulatory, Safety, Marketing, and Infrastructure.
  • Interest & experience in Programming, Systems Integration, Cloud Technology, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Systems Management, Cybersecurity, or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Quick learner with ability and willingness to learn new concepts and frameworks.
  • Passion and aptitude for technology with a desire to innovate.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in data-driven approaches to information technology.
  • Familiarity with automation and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of the biotechnology industry.
