About The Position

Intern – Industrial Engineering – Colorado Springs, CO – Summer 2026 Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities at our site in Colorado Springs. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. Your role: Conduct time studies on the manufacturing floor and convert the findings into Yamazumi charts and clear work‑breakdown elements. Provide direct support to the Manufacturing Engineering team and Production Management to help assess capacity and improve workload balance How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite office role. Requirements

  • You are studying Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering and have basic experience conducting process time studies.
  • You are comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite and can communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • You are a self‑starter who can flex working hours across either 1st shift (05:00 to 15:30) or 2nd shift (14:00 to 22:00) to collect the required data.
  • You can work daily on the production floor in a cleanroom environment and engage with operators, engineers, production leads, supervisors and managers.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Colorado Springs, CO.
