About The Position

Dexcom Corporation is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). The company is looking for interns for its 12-week U.S. internship program, which offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects that support people living with diabetes. The program is designed to develop future leaders and provides hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to real-world challenges in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. Interns will work in the Global Product Design team, collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define both long-term strategies and short-term tactics for Dexcom products.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university.
• Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Requires a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Strong communication skills to discuss complex design ideas.
• Ability to articulate design decisions and tradeoffs.
• Curiosity about users and their needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define long-term strategy and short-term tactics for products.
• Create wireframes, workflows, journey maps, and prototypes.
• Drive the vision for the look, feel, and interactions in Dexcom products.
• Communicate design vision to the rest of the company.
• Push forward new design ideas proactively.
• Take ownership of tasks that impact the entire product portfolio of CGM apps.
• Immerse in patient, caregiver, and healthcare provider experiences to improve their experiences with Dexcom products.
