About The Position

Dexcom Corporation is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). The company is looking for interns for its 12-week U.S. internship program, which offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects that support people living with diabetes. The program is designed to develop future leaders and provides hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to real-world challenges in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. Interns will work in the Data Platform Test Engineering department, focusing on automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure the reliability and performance of Dexcom’s software systems.

Requirements

• Experience or coursework in Python programming.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as REST APIs, databases, or cloud services.
• Detail-oriented mindset and a passion for quality assurance.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) by contributing to backend test automation efforts.
• Write and maintain Python scripts to validate APIs, services, and data pipelines.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate and augment day-to-day work, including generating tests and maintaining automated test suites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure robust test design.
