About The Position

PayBright is seeking a Spring or Summer 2026 intern to join our HR team. As we continue to grow, our HR function is expanding and becoming more structured. This internship offers hands-on experience in a company where processes are actively being built, refined, and elevated. The role will have a dual focus on core HR work - such as recruiting coordination, document management, and preparing materials - and employee experience initiatives including office operations and engagement activities. The intern will play a meaningful role in strengthening processes and helping establish a high standard of excellence within the HR department. The ideal candidate is organized, a strong communicator, and genuinely enjoys supporting and connecting with people at work.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in an office or administrative environment preferred
  • Comfort with cloud-based work tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace)
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Track required documentation and monitor completion of compliance-related items
  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including candidate communication and interview scheduling
  • Draft and format internal communications for review
  • Contribute to learning and development initiatives, including organizing materials and tracking participation
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and team-building events
  • Handle confidential information with a high level of discretion and professionalism
  • Support day-to-day office operations, including supply and pantry management
  • Maintain shared spaces to ensure a professional and organized environment
  • Prepare workspaces and materials for new hires and internal meetings
