Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of college completed towards a BA/BS degree with an interest in analytics.
• Proven ability to work on a team or operate independently and prioritize job duties.
• Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to succeed in high-volume environments requiring personal organization, multitasking, and regular reprioritization with short turnaround time on items of high impact.
• Experience in researching and accurately resolving technical subject matter while working under pressure and within time constraints.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Advanced understanding of Excel is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• Year-round availability: 15-20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of healthcare claims and/or medical terminology a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain organized case files with thorough documentation of data analysis, research, correspondence, investigative charts, and reports related to the investigation.
• Coordinate with other departments to prepare clinical reviews, network notifications and overpayment allocations.
• Conduct preliminary research to identify targeted accounts, networks involved, and provider demographics.
• Review leads and referrals for Wellfleet exposure to assist in potential case creation and development decisions.
• Participate in trainings and committee meetings, prepare and distribute notes and action items.
• Perform other duties as assigned
