About The Position
The Port of Virginia - Virginia International Terminals is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Intern that will perform data analysis of safety data, assist HSE & Risk Management in transferring safety data from excel spreadsheets to Origami, assist in developing dashboards for HSE Presentations to safety committees, work with systems support to generate reports for Safety and Environmental teams, and assist in developing templates for Safety, Training, Environmental and Risk Management KPIs. The Port of Virginia's 8-Week Summer Internship Program runs from June 2, 2025 - July 25, 2025, and is designed to develop, teach, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students as they explore career opportunities within the maritime industry. Students will have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to hands on, project-focused tasks in various departments throughout The Port of Virginia.
