Hardware Engineering Intern- Irvine,CA (100% on-site) At Panasonic Avionics Corporation, interns play a meaningful role in driving innovation and shaping the future of inflight entertainment. Our paid internships run 100% on-site from May/June through August/September, and all candidates must be actively enrolled students during the program. Requirements

  • Student pursuing an BS/MS EE with an emphasis on RF Design.
  • Must be able to commute and work on-site 5 days a week.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a fulltime student at an accredited four-year college or university
  • Experience with MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to decipher technical documents with experience reading engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work on a full-time basis for any employer in the U.S.
  • We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of any type of employment-based visa at this time.

Responsibilities

  • The student will be tasked with solving real world issues as they relate to our Smart Monitor products, dealing with Obsolescence issues, circuit analysis, troubleshooting field issues and providing solutions to these problems.
  • Student will get hands on Lab experience and learn to use a variety of equipment (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer etc.)
  • The student will be able to apply their theoretical knowledge from school to real life practical problems and understand how Engineering Organizations function.
  • Gain an understating of the necessity to collaborate with other Engineers and Departments to solve real problems and in so doing provide value to Panasonic Avionics Corporation.
