Intern - Hardware and Electrical Engineering

About the position

Visteon seeks a Summer Intern for 8-14 weeks to assist Hardware Electrical Engineers with developing and testing a variety of products including Battery Management Systems, Infotainment, Domain Controllers and Display Clusters. As a Summer Intern at Visteon, you will assist Hardware Electrical Engineers in developing and testing a variety of products, including Battery Management Systems, Infotainment Domain Controllers, and Display Clusters. Your goal will be to ensure all products meet OEM quality expectations and are designed to given specifications through comprehensive hardware bench testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements using volt meters and oscilloscopes.
• Flash firmware into hardware modules.
• Conduct and analyze RF tests.
• Test and evaluate power supplies.
• Perform thermal testing on hardware components.
• Conduct EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing.
• Perform fault injection testing to assess hardware robustness.
• Coordinate the delivery of prototypes to customers, ensuring timely and quality deliveries.
• Assist in conducting worse case analysis.
• Support functional safety analysis efforts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, components, and systems.
• Proficiency in using electrical measurement tools and software (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, MATLAB).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
