What you’ll be challenged to do: During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Environmental Science, or a GIS-related field.
• Demonstrated interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through applied academic coursework, work experiences, or prior internships.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Dynamic, personable and self-motivated personality with the ability to work as part of a distributed team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with ArcGIS Pro software and ESRI products.

Responsibilities

• Support real client projects by performing GIS spatial analyses using ESRI software.
• Create and edit geospatial cadastral, transportation, and municipal infrastructure datasets.
• Compile and organize GIS data from maps, databases and other sources.
