The Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII) is a living laboratory where we investigate the relationship between computer technology, human activity, and society. The Future Interfaces Group (www.figlab.com), part of Carnegie Mellon University’s Human-Computer Interaction Institute, is seeking undergraduate research interns for hands-on research in next-generation interactive systems. The Future Interfaces Group is an interdisciplinary research lab that invents new sensing techniques, interaction paradigms, and user interface technologies. Our work blends hardware, software, design, and human-centered computing to push the boundaries of how humans interact with technology. This is a paid internship opportunity.
