About The Position

The Culinary Intern at Raising Cane's will gain hands-on experience in the culinary field while supporting the Culinary team in various project tasks. This 10-week internship program offers the opportunity to work directly with a mentor, contribute to the company's growth, and build a professional network through events and activities. The intern will be involved in executing scientific experiments, data collection, and preparation of laboratory samples.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Culinary, Food or Animal Science
• 1+ years of volunteer or work experience in relevant field
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
• Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
• Microsoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
• Able to travel within the local area to various restaurants and events

Responsibilities

• Supports Culinary initiatives by participating in project work
• Assists in execution of various components of and activities of assigned project(s)
• Provides relevant knowledge and insights from educational experiences and gains valuable knowledge and experience
• Participates in intern activities and development opportunities
