About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Firmware Engineer Intern to join
our Firmware team for Summer 2026. In this role, you will gain hands-on
experience in firmware development on optical transceivers, work alongside
industry professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that support our
team and company objectives.

Requirements

• Education Level Required: Bachelor:
• Rising Senior (completed 3 years by start)
• Majors: Electrical and Computer Engineering
• Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in: Circuit Analysis,
• Programming in C/Python is a plus.
• Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and time management.

Nice To Haves

• Programming in C/Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop device drivers for optical transceivers.
• MCU IDE and Eval board will be used.
• Work closely with firmware team and MCU vendors
• A set of peripheral drivers are expected to be developed for the MCU.
