About The Position

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Intern for the 2026 Summer Internship Program. The intern will support the Financial Reporting team during peak monthly and quarterly close cycles by assisting with data collection, account reconciliations, preparation of financial schedules, and review of reports for accuracy and timeliness. This role will help ensure the team meets critical reporting deadlines, enhances process efficiency, and enables full‑time staff to focus on higher‑value analysis and compliance activities. The intern will also assist with regulatory reporting and external filings, including Form 10‑Q support through data validation, tie‑outs, and documentation. This is a 14-week internship beginning 5/18/2026 at our Miami, FL location. To be considered for the internship you must be enrolled in the following semester. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum completion of sophomore year preferred.
  • Basic understanding of financial accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and basic data analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools.
  • Prior internship or coursework related to financial accounting or reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy across all deliverables.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including preparation of financial schedules and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with variance analysis and review of financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support regulatory reporting and external filings, including Form 10‑Q preparation through data validation, tie‑outs, and documentation organization.
  • Maintain well‑organized workpapers that support internal reviews and audit requests.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams while adhering to accounting standards, internal controls, and confidentiality requirements.
