About The Position

A Financial Planning & Analysis Internship provides students or recent graduates with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the finance sector of the healthcare industry. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) in a hospital setting involves a range of activities aimed at ensuring the financial health and strategic direction of the organization. Interns in this role typically support various functions within FP&A, such as budgeting & forecasting, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, performance analysis, and data management & reporting. The FP&A Intern will be responsible for assisting in various activities related to the department of FP&A. This role offers an in-depth understanding of the healthcare delivery process and provides valuable exposure to the intersection of the need to balance financial performance with patient care and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field
• Undergraduate college degree (or soon to be) in economics, accounting, or business related

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship or experience in healthcare
• Knowledge of data analysis tools or healthcare management software
