Your career awaits. Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS) is seeking a Finance intern. This student filling this position will handle a wide range of financial, accounting, and system related tasks - Provide financial analysis assistance, including month end close and ad hoc requests. - Assist with implementing a new company wide financial tool. - Complete special projects as assigned by management. - Provide backup as directed by supervisor and other duties as may be assigned. - Assist with clerical accounting duties, including lockbox, cash deposits or reviewing credit card chargebacks.
Requirements
- Working towards a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting departments
- Attention to detail.
- PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Ability to follow directions. Willingness to learn new processes.
- Knowledge of accounting practice and procedures.
- Energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
- Good work ethic and habits.
