About The Position

What You’ll Do: Assist in creating and analyzing accounting statements and reports used in the preparation of financial statements Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation Perform balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned by management Help develop and improve finance and accounting processes and documentation Create ad hoc templates to improve utilization of ERP systems and financial tools Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, projections, and planning activities Communicate variances versus financial targets to management and partner teams Assist with the development and maintenance of annual budgets What You Bring: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based sponsorship Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving work environment Ability to exercise independent judgment while working collaboratively Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Demonstrated leadership qualities and business acumen Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience supporting accounting and financial operations in a corporate environment Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls Practical, meaningful work experience applying classroom concepts to real business challenges Insight into how Finance partners with cross-functional teams across the organization Experience working within a regulated medical device company The opportunity to experience VB Spine’s culture prior to considering full-time career opportunities Professional networking with finance and business leaders Increased marketability and professional exposure in corporate finance and accounting Why VB Spine? Compensation: This is a paid internship position with an hourly rate of $30 per hour. This role is based in Leesburg, VA or Allendale, NJ. While non-local candidates may apply, relocation and housing assistance are not provided, and candidates are responsible for all related expenses. VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers factors such as experience level, skill set, and market conditions.

Requirements
