The position involves general computer office work, assistance in filling specific production requests, location researching and scouting, and telephone interaction with film and TV companies and crews. The role requires working closely with sector leaders on industry issues, initiatives, and policy discussions, performing research on competitor state policies and programs, and promoting teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment among division, EDA staff, and external customers. Additional duties and special projects may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in an accredited degree program.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in grammar, spelling, and editing.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and be highly organized.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently within limited time constraints with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare data visualization materials.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and deal effectively and diplomatically with business professionals and EDA staff.
  • Demonstrates respectful behavior and promotes teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software packages.
  • Valid driver's license.
