About The Position

Position Title: Intern, Film Development and Production - Summer 2025 Location: Burbank, CA Reporting to: VP, Creative Affairs Application Window: March 3, 2025 - March 21, 2025 Program Dates: Monday, June 9, 2025 - Friday, August 15, 2025 Hourly Pay Rate Range: $16.50 - $18.50 Legendary Entertainment is a leading media company with film (Legendary Pictures), television and digital (Legendary Television and Digital Media) and comics (Legendary Comics) divisions dedicated to owning, producing, and delivering content to worldwide audiences. Our part-time, paid internship program provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative environment within the entertainment industry. Interns can work up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Participants will engage in real projects, gaining practical industry insights while developing professional skills through workshops and career-building sessions. The program also features guest speaker events with industry experts, networking opportunities with professionals and fellow interns, and exclusive perks such as company outings, team-building activities, and access to film and media screenings.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Fall/Spring) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
  • Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Read incoming material and provide script coverage and analysis.
  • Contribute to creative conversations about current and potential projects.
  • Learn and execute administrative tasks, such as logging material and meetings.
