About The Position

What this Department does The department is responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of gas/liquid pipelines, compressor stations, pump stations, process plants, and related facilities. It also handles electrical, measurement, and control integrity, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Actively enrolled or recently completed (within 3 months) a relevant technical or associate degree program (e.g., Mechanics, Energy, Construction, Industrial Electrician, Electromechanical, Measurement, or other Electrical programs)
  • Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.
  • Ability to collect, organize, interpret, and present data accurately.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn measurement and control equipment.
  • Basic understanding of schematics, engineering drawings, technical reports, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
  • Strong focus on safe work practices.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in project and maintenance activities.
  • Must be able to work from elevated platforms, ladders, and walkways.
  • Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Successful candidates must clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including a credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to employment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors, engines, turbines, motors, cooling equipment, pump stations, pumps, dehydration equipment, valves, seals, and other related equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and support the diagnosis and repair of engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves, and instruments.
  • Perform general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
  • Learn activities related to electrical, measurement, and control integrity, including design, installation, inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and adjustment of various control systems.
  • Actively participate in safety programs/initiatives and develop Operations & Maintenance Procedures, Site Specific Procedures, project scopes, and work plans.
  • Participate in all applicable documentation and record-keeping.
  • How to operate and maintain various equipment and systems used in pipeline operations.
  • How to perform Inspection and Maintenance (I & M) checks on control systems.
  • How to troubleshoot and maintain electrical switchgear and power distribution.
  • How to observe and participate in advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing.
  • How to install, analyze, and repair security/intrusion systems.
  • How to identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
