As a Fab Equipment Maintenance Technician Intern, you will develop foundational knowledge of the semiconductor fabrication process. This internship offers exposure to advanced technologies and the specialized equipment used in our cleanroom environment to produce industry-leading memory solutions. Interns will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, which includes safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, preventive and corrective maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Through this experience, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance methods for optimizing equipment maintenance and repair efficiency.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic fundamentals of electricity.
  • Intermediate PC skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with safety policies.
  • OJT on preventative/corrective maintenance and equipment qualification procedures in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Receive training and participate in area continuous improvement programs.
  • Partner with operations technicians and shift engineers/technicians to complete daily priorities that improve learning cycles.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for equipment-related problems and address root causes.
  • Improve equipment availability by investigating chronic tool problems and finding solutions.
  • Maintain documentation on tool status, including observations and work performed.
  • Perform and facilitate audits and submit good catches on safety and quality issues.
