About The Position

College Internship/Externship Program Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa – Point Clear, Alabama The iconic Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa , located on the breathtaking shores of Mobile Bay in beautiful Point Clear, AL, is seeking passionate and driven college students to join our team for the 2026 Internship/Externship Program . This unique opportunity allows students to gain hands-on, real-world experience in the dynamic world of hospitality while enjoying the charm and prestige of one of the South’s most celebrated resorts. Internship Overview As a member of our hospitality team, the primary role of a Hospitality Intern is to gain valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic and rewarding hospitality industry. This program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of hospitality operations while fostering professional growth and skill development. Interns will be immersed in the daily operations of a luxury resort, with opportunities to: Provide exceptional guest services, including warm welcomes, addressing inquiries, and ensuring guest needs are met. Support front desk staff with check-in/check-out, reservations management, and guest requests. Collaborate with housekeeping to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas, upholding resort standards. Assist in food and beverage operations, including serving, order-taking, and creating seamless dining experiences. Work alongside various departments to ensure efficient operations across the property. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship activities designed to enhance skills and industry knowledge. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment rooted in Southern hospitality. Available Internship Tracks We are offering opportunities for students pursuing studies in: Culinary Arts – Work alongside experienced chefs in a fast-paced, high-end kitchen. Pastry & Baking – Gain specialized training in pastry and dessert creation. Beverage Supervisor – Support Beverage team by running supervisor duties at pool and other beverage outlets (must be 21 years or older).
