We are offering a 3-month internship opportunity in Environmental Engineering in Rio Tinto's Resolution Copper site in Superior, Arizona. Requirements

• At least one year completed in an Environmental bachelor or master's program (Environmental Engineering, Science or another related field)
• Leadership skills, eagerness to learn and ready for the challenge ahead
• Ability to work with supervision
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Valid driving license
• Must be a registered student at a recognized American university and have the right to work full-time in the United States

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage environment related risks
• Perform environmental field activities
• Become exposed to environmental regulation in a mining environment
• Be involved in reactive and proactive activities including reporting & investigations
• Establish best practices
